Dentistry and Oral Surgery

A person in protective gear uses a handheld imaging device over a small dog lying on a padded table in a veterinary clinic.

The expertise of our board-certified veterinary dentists and experienced staff, state-of-the-art instrumentation and materials, along with the support of our anesthesiology team, make treating advanced dental and oral conditions possible in all patient age groups.

An initial consultation exam is required for any procedure, including teeth cleanings. Any procedure must be scheduled as a separate appointment following the consultation exam. A recheck exam is also required following a procedure that included tooth extractions.

To request an appointment, please call us at (970) 297-4474 and leave a voicemail or complete the appointment request form.

Once we receive your message, we will contact you within 1-3 business days to schedule both the initial consultation and the procedure (if applicable), though each appointment will take place on a different day.

Once your pet is scheduled, please complete the patient history form.

We appreciate having your pet’s records ahead of time to help us review their history prior to the consultation appointment. You may send them to us – or have your pet’s primary care veterinarian send them – via email or fax; be sure to attention any fax to Small Animal Dentistry and Oral Surgery. If you are unable to send medical records before your pet’s initial consultation, please bring copies with you to the appointment; this may impact our team’s ability to review your pet’s medical information in advance.

If you would like to be contacted by a clinician to discuss a case, call us at (970) 297-4474 and leave a voicemail (pay attention to prompts), email us, or complete our referral form.
