For individuals and families caring for an animal during times of illness, emergencies, uncertainty, and loss, Argus Wellness and Support provides compassionate, emotional support that complements the veterinary hospitals’ cutting-edge medical care.

Offered at no cost, our hallmark program honors the human–animal bond by supporting the family of any patient, no matter the size or species. As a nonmedical member of your animal’s medical team, our counselors help to enhance understanding, reduce stress, and promote thoughtful decision-making. This commitment to emotional well-being, embedded directly into patient care, is a defining feature that sets CSU veterinary hospitals apart and reflects a truly all-inclusive approach to veterinary medicine.

Guiding quality-of-life and end-of-life discussions, including support during euthanasia
Assisting with parent-child conversations around illness and loss
Providing pre- and post-loss grief support at no charge to clients
Offering additional resources (i.e. support groups, therapists specializing in pet loss, book recommendations, etc.)
