About Maggie

Dr. Maggie Clark, an environmental epidemiologist, is an Associate Professor and Head of the Epidemiology Affinity Group in the Department of Environmental and Radiological Health Sciences at Colorado State University (CSU), USA. She also holds an adjunct appointment in the Department of Epidemiology at the Colorado School of Public Health. Maggie’s research focuses on health and household energy in low-resource settings, globally. Areas of focus include identifying and interpreting appropriate measures of exposure and indicators of future disease risk, elucidating factors that may confer increased susceptibility to the adverse health effects of household air pollution exposures, and conducting studies with a community engaged lens. She teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in environmental health and epidemiology, centered in active and engaged learning.
