Dr. Bowen is a professor of reproductive biology and virology in the Department of Biomedical Sciences. His research focuses on understanding the pathogenesis of infectious diseases for several viral and bacterial pathogens. His lab also conducts a large number of experiments to evaluate the efficacy of new vaccines and therapeutic agents against pathogens.
