About Karyn

Dr. Karyn Wesley is a Colorado State University alumna returning to Fort Collins after practicing small-animal medicine in Tucson, Arizona. She joined the University of Arizona College of Veterinary Medicine in 2022 as an assistant professor, where she developed and taught canine, feline, and backyard-poultry content while also practicing clinically as a small-animal general practitioner in southern Arizona.

Dr. Wesley is passionate about supporting veterinary students and early-career veterinarians by helping them build confidence in clinical practice and encouraging well-being, career sustainability, and lifelong learning.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading in local coffee shops, exploring thrift stores, snuggling her two cats, walking her dog, rewatching Gilmore Girls, and camping with her fiancé.
