Iris pursued work within the CSU vet hospitals because she loves caring for animals. She grew up on a hobby farm in northeast Indiana, and enjoyed working at a goat dairy in central Texas and a pasture-raised livestock and egg farm in Fort Collins before starting as a large animal caretaker at the Johnson Family Equine Hospital. When she's not working, she spends time playing with her Belgian malinois Nina, listening to KUVO jazz, and rollerskating.
