About Halley
My name is Halley Moak. I was born and raised in Estes Park, Colorado. I grew up around horses, as my grandfather was a racetrack veterinarian for more than 40 years, and I often accompanied him on the backside of Arapahoe Park Racetrack. I have competed on the CHJA circuit for 12 years, shown with the Midway University hunt seat team in Midway, Kentucky, and have been involved in rodeo royalty for nearly 11 years. I hold two bachelor’s degrees from Midway University: one in equine studies with dual concentrations in management and rehabilitation, and another in equine business and sales. I am currently completing a master’s degree in equine management and will graduate in May 2026.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, watching hockey or a good movie, riding my four horses, snowboarding and spending time outdoors. A fun fact about me is that I love aquatic animals but am terrified of the ocean, so I’ve found a happy medium by visiting aquariums and owning five betta fish.
Currently, I work alongside Dr. King at the rehabilitation barn as an assistant barn manager. I am grateful for the opportunity to continue learning and growing alongside such a knowledgeable team and look forward to what the future holds.
