About Eric

Dr. Eric Gibbons is a dual graduate from the University of Florida, earning a Bachelor of Science in zoology in 2020 and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2025 with a certificate in aquatic animal medicine. He finished a one-year small animal rotating internship at BluePearl Tampa in 2026 before starting as the specialty zoo/exotics intern at CSU. His goal is to complete a residency program in zoological medicine or to work the experiential route to become a diplomate of the American College of Zoological Medicine. He enjoys nature photography and has one cat named Scuba.
