About Adriana
Originally from Ecuador and raised in Spain, Adriana earned her veterinary degree in Spain before moving to California to complete a small animal rotating internship. During her internship, she discovered her passion for emergency and critical care, and after completing her training, she spent five years working as an emergency veterinarian at a specialty referral hospital. She enjoys the fast-paced environment, collaborative teamwork, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference for critically ill patients and their families.
Adriana has always been passionate about animals and the unique bond they share with people. Helping preserve and strengthen that bond is what inspired her to pursue veterinary medicine and continues to motivate her every day. Her professional interests include feline medicine and respiratory diseases, and she enjoys caring for a wide variety of emergency and critically ill patients.
Outside of the hospital, Adriana enjoys spending time outdoors, whether it's hiking, exploring new places, or simply being in nature. One of her personal goals is to visit every U.S. national park. At home, she loves spending time with her brown tabby cat, who keeps her entertained and reminds her why she chose this profession.
