About Addison

I am a Ph.D. student in the Cell and Molecular Biology program at Colorado State University. I received my B.S. in Biology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where I studied the physiology of epithelial cells carrying the causal mutation for congenital glaucoma. Currently, my research in the Braunstein Lab focuses on characterizing the kinetics of mycobacteriophage infection of Mycobacterium abscessus through in vitro models, as well as investigating the efficacy of a long-acting drug treatment for Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection. My research interests include alternative therapies for treating multidrug resistant mycobacterial infections.
