CSU Veterinary Health System’s temporary livestock facility will close May 29 to move to a new, permanent Livestock Hospital, located adjacent to the Johnson Family Equine Hospital in Fort Collins. This exciting move offers expanded capabilities to better serve clients and their animals.

To ensure a safe and smooth transition, there will be a brief interruption to in-hospital care from CSU Livestock Veterinary Services during the move.

What to expect during the move

May 29-June 14

  • The temporary livestock hospital will be closed for in-hospital appointments.
  • Emergency ambulatory care will be available daily from 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
  • If your animal needs hospitalization during this period, please contact an alternate veterinary practice.

June 15

  • Emergency services open at the new hospital from 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
  • In-hospital appointments resume in our new building

The new Livestock Hospital reflects CSU’s continued commitment to advancing livestock health with a purpose-built facility that allows for state-of-the-art care, collaboration, and education.
