Our state-of-the-art Veterinary Hospital and Education Complex starts phased opening Sept. 16. We appreciate your continued patience, understanding, and support as we move into our new building.
Important information to know before you visit
- New entry: All small animal appointments, as well as emergency visitors, will enter through the south-facing doors of the building. We will provide clear signage and guidance to assist you. View map of new building entry location.
- Livestock check-in: Visit the Livestock Veterinary Services page for updates for livestock patients.

Once construction is complete, the Veterinary Hospital and Education Complex will:
- Expand and upgrade emergency, urgent, and critical care services, including dedicated entrances and check-in.
- Enhance dentistry, primary care, and ophthalmology services by incorporating advanced treatment capabilities and contemporary patient-centered design.
- Optimize pharmacy footprint and service delivery.
- Centralize clinical practice, education, and applied clinical research in one location to provide ground-breaking veterinary care.
- Grow veterinary student enrollment by 20% to help alleviate the veterinary workforce shortage.
