After your pet’s initial exam, we will provide you with an estimate for any care needed. Cost will vary based on the level of treatment and care your pet requires, and our team will walk you through anticipated costs before moving forward.
If you want additional information about the cost of care, your primary care veterinarian can call us before your arrival and we will provide them with an estimate.
When you arrive, your pet will be evaluated right away by a member of our team to ensure they are stable, and we will recommend next steps if they need immediate medical attention.
After your pet’s initial evaluation, there might be a wait time if your pet’s condition is considered stable, or if our team needs to attend to more critical patients.
If your pet is hospitalized, you will receive a status update from your specialty care team veterinarian at least once a day, between 10 a.m.-5 p.m. If your pet’s medical status declines for any reason, your veterinarian will call you as soon as possible.
For veterinarians wanting to discuss a case with an urgent problem, call us at (970) 297-5000 and ask to speak to an emergency room veterinarian. Our team is available 24/7 to collaborate on diagnostic and therapeutic plans for patients remaining in your care.
